Van Adams
An entrepreneur and small business owner, Van is the president of the VanAdams Sports Group. She is a seasoned marketing professional with expertise in events, consulting, and talent relations with proficiency in digital platforms, niche markets and several aspects of business management. Over the last decade, she has represented a number of iconic sports celebrities and executed marketing campaigns for their personal celebrity and/or business ventures.
Prior to starting her own company, Van held positions in media/public relations, marketing, editorial, and business development for leading sports organizations including the United States Golf Association and Sports Illustrated. She began her career in college athletics working with the world famed Tiger Football and Baseball programs at Grambling State University.
An advocate for women in business, Van is the creator and producer of Gathering on the Greens, a women’s golf initiative, and a founding board member of the NYC Metro Chapter of Women In Sports and Events (WISE) where she currently serves as President overseeing chapter programming and strategy. In addition, Van is an adjunct professor of sports marketing, guest speaker, and contributing writer for a number of industry publications.
