Tonja Ward
Currently the administrative assistant for KSBJ Special Events and NGEN radio in Houston, TX, Tonja began serving KSBJ and NGEN radio as a volunteer.
With a true passion for community service, Tonja’s experience spans far and wide from a licensed New York attorney to an inspirational wellness and lifestyle speaker. Her entertaining style and embarrassment free openness allows Tonja to connect with audiences in a real yet fun way. She has made appearances on KSBJ’s (89.3) Morning, mid-day and evening shows, K-LOVE, the Yolanda Adams Morning Show, Total Christian Television’s TCT Alive and The Ada Edwards Show on Praise 92.1. For 5 years, Tonja also served as a health editor and columnist for Houston Style Magazine stemming from her experience as a personal trainer, fitness instructor and health coach.
Married for 17 years to Charlie, Tonja is the proud mother of 3 including her 4 year old who joined the family through the miracle of adoption. She enjoys training for cause related events, reading contemporary sociology books, working in youth ministry, watching and playing sports with her family… both competitively and for fun, of course!
