Shelley Barrow
Shelley Barrow is an accomplished writer, motivational speaker and published poet. Her bestselling book, My Life…the Story of an NFL Child, shows the softer side of America’s favorite sport through the eyes of NFL children. Capturing tender moments from today’s most beloved athletes, My Life presents a view of the often unseen, respectable and strong family lives many NFL players lead.
Being a wife and woman of the NFL for over thirteen years, Shelley considers it a privilege to partner with NFLPE. “For so long, women have not been an intricate part of the equation, I applaud Troy and NFLPE for bridging the gap. It is one thing to inform the players, but when you personally invite the women in, the whole dynamic changes.”
Shelley is currently working on her second children’s book. She is also a high school and elementary school drama teacher in Miami, Florida where she resides with husband Micheal Barrow, former NFL linebacker, and their three children.
God has given us the ability to not only dream, but to bring it to fruition!
