NFL Player Engagement
It has been a busy start to the 2013 season for our Prep programs, a top priority since prep – as in preparation – is the name of the game this time of year.
What you do during the offseason to maintain your mind, body, and soul will determine your success during the gridiron season in September.
This is why we unveiled our Prep 100 Series Presented by Under Armour in the first quarter of this year, to teach leadership skills both on-the-field and off-the-field for student-athletes.
By any standard, this initiative scored big with the 400 high school football players who attended our four first-ever Prep 100 Series weekends at our NFL teams’ training facilities in New Orleans, Miami, Houston, and Baltimore.
Just as importantly, our dual focus on both academics and athletics hit home with participants’ parents, families, and coaches, who, like our extraordinary partners in this Prep 100 Series endeavor, all agree that winning on the football field is one gauge of success, but victory in the field of life is the ultimate measure of a man.
To achieve both, the time is now to prepare.
To maximize your mind, bang the books and get plenty of sleep to finish the school year strong and score your best on SATs and ACTs.
To bolster your body, make every minute count during camps, Spring football, and offseason workouts.
And to secure your soul, believe in a higher power that will help you find faith as your foundation.
Follow this simple strategy, and you will be rewarded.
Just like the best-of-the-best chosen from our first four Prep 100 Series events, which for them culminates in Cleveland in late June when they attend a leadership forum at the Browns facility, held the same week as our NFL Rookie Symposium.
