Sean James rallies fellow NFL players for "Be In the Know About Bullying" fundraiser

Be In The Know About Bullying hosted their second annual fundraising event.  For this year’s event, Be In The Know teamed up with Erno Laszlo and Kings of Cole to create their first annual “Kings of Cause Charity Cocktail Event” at the beautiful Erno Laszlo Institute in New York City.  Be In The Know About Bullying is an anti-bullying organization that is centered on the principles of education, leadership, and mentorship.  Much of the leadership and mentorship is facilitated through the contributions of the many NFL ambassadors affiliated with the organization.

Be In The Know founder former player Sean James, along with Erno Laszlo CEO Rochelle Weitzner and Kings of Cole founder Elana Brynes hosted the event.  In attendance were celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson, CBS anchor Chris Wragge, and NFL players including Pro Bowler and Super Bowl Champion Brendon Ayanbadejo.  This year’s event was meant to both honor National Anti-Bullying Month and preview an upcoming documentary entitled “Stand On The Side Of Love” which highlights Ayanbadejo and his advocacy of equal rights in our society.

Funds for the event were raised through the sale of a special Kings of Cole collection featuring a “Bye Hater” logo as well as through Text to Donate.  If you would like to learn more about Be In The Know About Bullying, Kings of Cause, or how to donate money, please visit www.knowaboutbullying.com. Other NFL players who attended were Tiki Barber, Dereck Faulkner, Will Witherspoon, Bernard Berrian, Walter Thurmand.  Also showing up to show their support for this important cause were Kevin Hooks, CEO of the Urban League in Las Vegas, CEO of HMI Thomas Krever Olympians Katura Horton-Perinchief and Garrett Klugh, and actor  Luis Da Silva Jr. Be In The Know now has over 85 NFL ambassadors.
