The film below kicked off the domestic violence and sexual assault education session for owners and executives from all 32 teams at today’s league meeting. NFL Director of Player Engagement & Education Deana Garner and NFL Player Engagement Director of Transition and Clinical Services Dwight Hollier (who also is a former NFL player), led the session which will be rolled out to all 32 teams in the coming weeks.
Joe Ehrmann is a former NFL player who has been working on issues of leadership and character for years. He founded the organization “Coach For America” and as an elite athlete, educator, motivator, coach and professional speaker for over 30 years, he develops leaders to be their best – personally, professionally and relationally – in business, on the field and in life.
Ehrmann has worked with the NFL Player Engagement department for years and he has been one of the experts who teams may speak with as part of annual Professional Development Sessions. Recently, he has been working with the NFL to expand the scope of life-skills training and education for those associated with the game of football at all levels and on education about character, respect and professionalism.
