The Houston Texans haven’t provided much good cheer on the field, but they do a great job generating it off the field.

For the seventh straight year, All-Pro wide receiver Andre Johnson played Santa to at-risk children from Houston. Johnson invited 12 children from children’s protective services to bring their siblings to Toys “R” Us, where they’d have 80 seconds to pick out anything, and everything, they could fit into a shopping cart. (The 80 seconds pays homage to Johnson’s uniform number. Good thing for the kids that he isn’t a punter.) Johnson also threw in a gaming console and two games.

When the kids hit the registers, Johnson was there to foot the bill. This year, the total came to $17,352.
