Experience the Rookie Symposium Through NFLPE’s Blog

Later this month, the 2014 drafted rookies will descent on Aurora, OH for this year’s Rookie Symposium. An annual orientation to life in the NFL for all drafted rookies, the 2014 Rookie Symposium will provide the newest members of the NFL with the opportunity to hear from a host of current and former players about life during and after football. Rookies will hear from a panel of players who just completed their first year in the League, a panel of veteran players who have achieved success both on and off-the-field, former player Transition Coaches who will provide insight on various transition-related topics, and members of the Player Engagement staff who serve as a support system for the players during and after their NFL experience.

All throughout the Rookie Symposium, this year’s drafted rookies will be blogging about what they’re learning, how they’re adjusting to life as a professional football player, and what they’re most looking forward to in their first NFL season. The current and former player panelists will also provide their perspective on what the rookies can expect heading into their first season. Follow the NFLPE blog from June 22nd through June 28th for players’ first-hand accounts of the Rookie Symposium experience. Visit http://www.nflpe.sportsblog.com to read along.
