This Fourth of July, MADD urges adults to plan ahead for a safe way home with a non-drinking designated driver—a friend, a car service, a cab, public transportation. Drunk driving typically spikes over holidays, so make sure you have a plan for getting home safely before you go out.
MADD supports Uber, and other types of car services, as an alternative transportation option for adults who plan to drink alcohol. Drunk driving is 100 percent preventable, and with options like Uber, there’s no reason for anybody to get behind the wheel impaired.
Have a happy holiday, but more importantly, have a safe one!
