Jon Runyan, a former NFL lineman who recaptured a seat for Republicans in the 2010 election that ousted Democrats from House control, said today he will not run for another term next year. "Politics shouldn't be a career and I never intended to make it one," Runyan, 39, of Burlington County, said in a statement. Runyan defeated John Adler, a Democratic state senator who rode Barack Obama's presidential coattails in 2008 to a victory in an open seat that had long been held by Republicans.
