NFL Player Engagement
You’ve played the game for years, and now is your chance to teach the next generation of players. Build your skills in the field of youth football coaching through a job shadow with USA Football.
In 2014 USA Football will host a series of Regional Development Camps across the country, and they are offering current and former NFL players the chance to assist with the camps and learn from the USA Football coaches. These camps are an opportunity for football players of all ages to receive developmental coaching both on and off-the-field, learn from former NFL players and coaches, be evaluated for U.S. National Team opportunities, and receive evaluations from NFL or college scouts.
Over two days of competition, participating athletes will go through individual drills, 1-on-1 training, 7-on-7 situations, and leadership and character development. If you participate in the USA Football job shadow you will gain valuable experience in youth coaching, have the opportunity to assist with the organization and execution of the event, and impart your knowledge on youth players.
The description and application instructions for the USA Football job shadow, as well as all of the other job shadows and internships offered by Player Engagement, are available now. Visit the NFL Engagement Zone for additional information and to apply.
