NFL Player Engagement
4-year NFL veteran Herana-Daze Jones, who spent the past nine months as an intern in the CB Richard Ellis Nashville office, set out to gain working experience in the commercial real estate industry. He left the industry with that invaluable experience and with a new set of fans, as he left an indelible mark on the company with his work ethic and enthusiasm.
Placed in Tier I of the two-tier internship program developed jointly by CBRE and Player Engagement in September 2012, Herana-Daze successfully completed Tier II of the program on May 31, 2013. He left the company determined to pursue real estate as a career and to pursue his MBA at Purdue University.
While at CBRE, Herana-Daze worked in office, industrial, retail, and multi-family brokerage and spent several weeks in both property management and project management. He took the initiative to complete the entire CBRE Quantum Learning curriculum, an online training tool developed by CBRE, putting him on pace in terms of company and industry knowledge with the other employees. Herana-Daze’s managers voiced their appreciation for his superior work ethic and eagerness to learn and hosted a “graduation ceremony” for him at the conclusion of his internship.
Player Engagement thanks CBRE’s commitment to assisting players with the transition process and congratulates Herana-Daze on his achievements and his commitment to the goals of the player internship program.
